 Jeannie Mok, Director |
Mrs Mok is the Founding Principal of the Asian Pacific Institute and Director (volunteer) of the Multicultural Community Centre (MCC). Mrs Mok has been a member of the Refugee Resettlement Advisory Council to the Federal Government and Queensland China Council. She now serves on the Royal Children’s Hospital District Council, Queensland Cancer Screening Services Community Reference Group, as well as theMulticultural Community Ministerial Advisory Committee. Her awards include a Multicultural Service Award from the Premier of Queensland, the Centenary Medal and the Brisbane Lord Mayor’s Cultural Award. |
 Brian Selvaratnam, Manager |
Brian’s background has been within the Audit and Accounting fields having worked for a range of Top Tier and Second Tier firms in Australia and Malaysia. As well as being a qualified CPA, he has also worked as a youth pastor and held senior leadership roles with the FGA Church in Melbourne. |
 Saysamone Borman, Project Manager |
Since 2004, Saysamone has been an essential part of MCC and has held various posts including that of Project Coordinator working on the very successful Accredited Training program (Cert 3s in Aged Care and Child Care). Miss Borman holds a Bachelor of Arts (Asian and International studies). Saysamone speaks several languages including Chinese, Lao and Thai. She is originally from Laos. Her record of coordinating training and subsequently placing her students in jobs is most notable as is her ability to provide customized assistance and counseling services. |

- Thelma Dzwowa, Project Manager

Thelma has worked as a Project Coordinator for MCC for nearly 4 years and has a broad range of experience dealing with people from diverse cultures. She holds a Bachelor of International Business and is currently in the process of completing her MBA specializing in International and Community Development. Miss Dzwowa holds a Cert 4 in Workplace Training and Assessment and is also a graduate in Multicultural Ministry. Zimbabwean by origin, she speaks several languages and is well placed to provide compassionate and effective assistance to her clients. |
