Green Army Work Placements
This project will provide work placements and job preparation assistance to jobseekers from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds from the Brisbane North Region.
Queensland’s Green Army work placements will undertake flood recovery activities in Teralba Park, where participants will clear and remove debris and replant native vegetation that was destroyed by flood waters.
Activities from Certificate I in Horticulture will also be integrated in the work placement activities.
Job preparation assistance will include Australian workplace culture, eg. job search and career pathway planning, interview techniques, motivation and problem solving.
